Abstract

This wok collets recent experiences in the comprehensive training of architects based on the integration of substantive processes, which constitutes the fundamental axis of the work developed. Some of these experiences of the teaching-learning process are described within the design discipline of the CUJAE Faculty of Architecture, which is the integrative discipline of the architecture career and the process. The process is supported by previous experiences, with a strong University-Company link and with a marked approach to the community and its actor, it has been developed under the guidance of tutors, faculty professors, who have had the support in the last courses of co-tutors, advisors, and specialists from the Mariel Architecture and Engineering Project Company, (EMPAI MARIEL, GEIDOS).The work process begins with the integration of several subjects that end in the diploma work, to which the other substantive processes are integrated. This motivation has been achieved from attention to problems taken from reality associated with economic objectives of developing communities so that research and transformation proposals have high social relevance and for future development. Students assume a transformative role that favors their professional and personal training, and the entire process becomes sustainable, since it favors the multiple factors that participate in this process in which everyone develops professionally and in which students are the most favored.
