Abstract

From the educational context of Mobile Learning (m-learning), the effectiveness in  the  learning  processes  of  a  digital  module  related  to  the  implementation  of Mobile  Pedestrian  Navigation  and  Augmented  Reality  (NPM-RA),  which  is  a
characteristic  of  Tablets in  the  formative  development,  is  established  together with the presentation digital processes on Salamanca city heritage. The research focuses on two topics: the design and development of an NPM-RA application by defining  functionality,  interfaces  and  implementation;  the  empirical  verification of  the  modes  of  presentation,  comprehension  and  educational  effectiveness  of the  NPM-RA  model  created  in  an  m-learning  context.  The  results  obtained  are
the  construction  of  portable  and  mobile  software  that  allow  the learning  of contents on the Salamanca city heritage, as an effective means within a context of situated and mobile learning.
