The motivation in the process of teaching learning

Abstract

The theme of the human motivation has been studied by many authors, insofar as knowing man, which are its thoughts and needs, as well as his behavior in determined contexts and his projections toward the future, have been an important view point from the beginning of the psychological and pedagogic
investigations.

Motivation constitutes a necessary condition of man's own existence and at the same time it happens in important factor of hisdevelopment that is why it is considered the engine of his activity.

Motivation is constituted for all the capable factors to provoke, to hold and to direct the conduct toward an objective. This term is used by Psychology and the Pedagogy to link knowledge and the teaching – learning process.

The objective of the present article is to support the importance of motivation in the teaching – learning process at the Cuban University.

To achieve the objective of this article it was necessary to many out a bibliographic research, in which the authoress picked up information from some other articles related to the concerning topic, books, magazines, internet, and some others. Finally, all the information was arranged in a logical order.

In the conclusions of this research, the authoress makes emphasis in the necessity of establishing a close relationship between creativity and motivation, in order to motivate the teaching – learning process among the students and the
teacher.
