Experiences of practical classes in the Department Military Education of Cujae

Abstract

The Department of Military Education of the Technological University of Havana “José Antonio Echeverria”, lt constitutes an assential bulwark, which participates in a relevant or committed way in the political-ideological and humanistic training of students. Lt plays a relevant role in the ideology and culture of national security and defense of engineers and architects, based on the principles of the Cuban Revolution. This publication is about practical classes given to regular day courses. Lt shows its essence, content and experiences which is aimed at students in two fundamental directions: ln patriotic, revolutionary, civic training and their future work life. The problem that gave rise to this article is given the great diversity, doubts and criteria that exist regarding the teaching of practical classes. Ln this sense we expose the different variants and experiences of the practical classes taught in the regular daytime industrial engineering courses, by the teachers of the Defense Preparation discipline, in the subjects of National Segurity and Defense, in the face to modality durig the teaching-educational process. With them, we aim to collate ideas, strengthen and perfect our teaching work.
