Creativity is one of the demands of modern society mainly, of engineering careers. Based on the identification of deficiencies in the Teaching-Learning Process (TLP) of the Transmission Lines and Antennas (LTA) subject taught in the fourth year of Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering degree, the real state of creativity was diagnosed through the use of
questionnaires. A sample of 50 students and 3 teachers was selected. The results revealed the students´ poor development of creativity and the almost null incorporation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) tools into the TLP. Based on the identified problems, the study of the action modes and spheres of the telecommunication professionals as well as
the objectives of the career and the main creative techniques, a didactic strategy is proposed for developing creativity in students of fourth year of this course. Some of the proposed techniques, adjusted to the characteristics of the subject are: morphological analysis, from the speakable to the visible and establishing light judgments. The proposal was validated by
the expert judgment method who rated it as good and suitable for the subject under study.
