Abstract

This paper describes the performance of routinary chemical tests of the Antillana de Acero production process as teaching laboratory practices in the Metallurgy Specialty of the ISPJAE. The experience was developed in the group of the second year and four labs practices were made with satisfactory results. This activity, contributed to the students skills to acquire own methods and techniques of analytical chemistry, widen, deepen, consolidate, generalize and would verify the theoretical foundations of the subject through experimentation.
