Educational innovation experiences in physics subjects for engineers

The closing of schools, including universities, as a result of COVID-19 was a critical problem that, among other things, contributed to the need for innovation in the education process. The implementation of the Distance Courses at the Universidad Technological University of Havana (CUJAE), led to the creation of new materials and didactic approaches for teaching, particularly the teaching of Physics. The work developed and put into practice in the Department of Physics of the CUJAE during 2020, has been enriched and diversified, which has allowed to face the teaching of this Discipline in the context of the economic situation after the COVID 19 pandemic, in the three types of courses: face-to-face, blended and distance learning. The objectives of this article are: i. To analyse the challenges faced by the teaching staff of the Department of Physics of the CUJAE, in the implementation of educational technologies in the teaching-learning process of General Physics. ii Present a set of educational innovation actions carried out and in perspectives through the implementation of teaching activities using educational technologies.
