The enrollment processes in Cuban Higher Education have a significant importance in the motivation of students and a proven impact on the school retention of students. The collection of data of interest for each of the faculties of Cujae is of vital importance to ensure the proper functioning of university processes. In the year 2024, in the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, for the enrollment of new students entering Higher Education, a pedagogical tool was applied that uses a Google form to complement the information collected on the official academic management site associated with Cuban Higher Education, SIGENU (Management System of the New University). For the design of the tool, the considerations provided by the student organizations and the faculty management concerning their work information needs were taken into account. This article focuses on demonstrating the relevance of the use of tools such as this one in the enrollment process. After the tool has been applied and the enrollment process has been completed, the advantages of the tool for the faculty have been evaluated. A series of elements that justify the use of Google Forms in this process are presented in this research, both for the benefit of students and to increase the efficiency of the actors responsible for university management.
