University education in this century is in an arduous process of improvement based on the sustained demand to respond to society, its needs and realities. Curriculum transformation and redesign is today an international demand, and a challenge met in most countries worldwide. The National University of San Agustín (UNSA) developed the curricular transformation process, based on the "New University Law 30220" and the "UNSA Statute" in 2017 and is currently immersed in the process of curricular redesign, after 5 years of execution of the competency-based curriculum. The research presented aims to assess the methodology for curricular redesign in engineering careers validated in the Faculty of Production and Services Engineering (FIPS) at UNSA. The results are offered as the methodology for the curricular redesign in engineering careers, its elaboration and validation through the techniques and methods applied during the course "The curricular redesign in engineering careers", developed in July and August 2022 in a hybrid way (semi-face-to-face) with an important group of professors, members of the academic commissions and directors of the seven programs of the Faculty of Production Engineering and Services (FIPS) at UNSA.
