Abstract

The University of Sciences of Physical Culture and Sport “Manuel Fajardo” (USPCS) is focused on improving its undergraduate and postgraduate training processes, where computer tools and applications play a predominant role by combining them with
flipped learning based on research. Therefore, the following scientific problem is stated: how to contribute with flipped and research-based learning to improve the students learning process in the Research Methodology subject? and as general
objective: to introduce flipped and research-based learning, complemented and supported by computer tools and applications at the UCCFD, supported by the research line linked to the professional training of human resources through the teachinglearning process. The results were compared to traditional methodologies and evidenced that the acceptance among students was good, with better development of collaborative and cooperative work in the learning process, by relying on the didactic methodologies of Flipped Learning and Research-Based Learning, both complemented and supported by Google Scholar, Gmail and Google Drive, based on what was stated in the Horizon Report regarding bringing your own device to class.
