Abstract

The economic preparation of executives is of great importance since it allows them to perform with quality, effectiveness and efficiency and that they are in tune with the demands of the improvement of the Cuban economic model. However, the new scenario given by the pandemic and the work regime in companies that requires a high permanence of managers in them accentuates the limitations of face-to-face training actions, making it difficult for managers to prepare. Maintaining the objectives of the System of Preparation and Improvement of Managers in these circumstances implies a design and development of different and complementary strategies to traditional teaching. This article aims to show the usefulness of using Virtual Teaching-Learning Environments as a more viable alternative for continuing study in Economic Analysis Methods for managers and their reserves. In conclusion, the implementation of the course in the distance modality constitutes an opportunity for manager’s postgraduate education, who, in addition to assimilating the contents concerning economic analysis, are capable of learning to work in virtual teaching-learning environments, Moodle platform, managing to incorporate it to your professional experience.
