Abstract

Higher Education institutions have undergone transformations in the educational teaching process during the XXI century, which has demanded pedagogical and didactic changes to achieve a complete education process of the university student. This research arises from the latent contradiction between the impact of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in educational processes and
their use at different levels of methodological work for the improvement and preparation of teachers, in such a way they can manage to face current challenges. The present research is aimed at assessing the contributions to the methodological work of the discipline group from the virtual teaching-learning environment at the University of Minint. A strategy and a course were developed and applied, supported in the M virtual environment for the teachers of the discipline group "Software Engineering and Management", which contributed to the improvement of their methodological work. The advantages obtained with the application of the strategy and the course were determined through the analysis of surveys and interviews results.
