Abstract

This article is a partial result of an investigation on the use of electronic books in the training of computer engineers, for which an integration of various methods was used, including the systemic approach, modeling, historical and logical, the surveys, the interviews and of course the documentary analysis. The main objective of this work is the proposal and justification of a model of a textbook in electronic format for the subject "Computer Architecture", specially made to complete the semi-face preparation that is carried out in the Courses by Encounters modality in Cuba. Among the results presented in this article are the philosophical, psychological and pedagogical foundations of the proposal, its distinctive characteristics, its structure and one analysis of the application during
two courses of the race in university annexed home to the Technological
University of Havana “José Antonio Echeverría”. CUJAE
