Abstract

This work belongs to a Socio-Educative Methodology for Professional-Vocational Orientation to Social Priority Profiles which is a national research project. It shows the transition made of the students about their professional and vocational orientation in Agronomical Engineering at the Agrarian University of La Habana
(UNAH).
For this, two cohort instances were used: at the end of first year in 2012 – 2013 and later, during the first semester of the fifth year in 2016-2017. A study of other works with the same theme, main ideas from the author as well as the results arisen from the professional development in that period. From this, specific considerations about professional and vocational orientation to this field could be established. It took into account Socio-Cultural Approach. For this, a Need Analysis was used. As conclusions,
although the professional orientation developed during the training process in the first year was not enough, the students’ motivation level increased.
