The evolutionary tendency in teaching Technical Drawing in the field of construction in Cuba / La tendencia evolutiva en la enseñanza del Dibujo Técnico de la construcción en Cuba
Abstract
The evolutionary tendency in teaching Technical Drawing in the field of construction in Cuba provides a first approach from different points of views to this discipline. It all began with the first professor that taught Drawing and
Geometry in Camagüey who continued showing the evolution of this subject matter until 1959. Later on, Ernesto “Ché” Guevara began leading the Normalization which set up the foundation to industrialize the field of construction. In teaching this course, the first thing to be done is to recognize the work done by the professor from Camagüey who taught Drawing in the field of Construction after 1959. Then, the staff of teachers teaching Graph in engineering at the University of Camagüey still has good results. Afterwards, it
is included in the Discipline that is called Graphic Representation of Civil Engineering and in the Descriptive Geometry Study Program. The paper concludes with the foundation of the WEB site used for learning Descriptive
Geometry and it was designed by taken into account the pedagogic theories of Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky and Jerome Bruner.
Keywords: Technical Drawing, Graphic Expression, Representation, Normalization.
