Abstract

For  the  superior  education it  is  of  vital  importance  the  development  of  the professional  abilities  that  you/they  should  possess  the  specialist  futures.  In  the specific case of the formation of engineers, the development of the professional
abilities acquires a different connotation for the paper that these they have in the transformation  of  the  physical  means.  For  the  civil  engineering,  in  particular,  a group  of  professional  abilities  exists  among  those  that  figure  the  topographical
ones. Presently article the results of the process of determination of topographical abilities are presented, contributing a definition of "topographical abilities" as well as the operacionalización of this abilities.
