Abstract

Our mainissue with this communication is to expose the results we obtained after more than ten years working together as a team with teachers, professionals and students on investigation processes, for teaching and universitary extension with local institution in order to, with interdisciplinary methods, try to solve Cerro´s Municipality most important problems.

Workshops were systematically performed from 2000 to 2009. Since 2011, there is a project led by the University of Havana with the participation of ISPJAE called “The role of the university in looking for solutions to the problems of the territory”. The results of these experiences have a direct influence in the local social-productive project, which is very important in the positive changes on the everyday life of the people in the communities we have worked at.

In the same way we evaluate the role of the different workshop design and experiences methodologies in the building up of values in students, teachers, and other factors, and also its influence in the increasing development of pedagogical innovation.
