The training of professionals demanded by the present century is undergoing a rigorous process of refinement to meet societal demands. Consequently, Cuban universities have been engaged for some time in producing better-prepared professionals capable of facing the growing challenges presented by global scientific and technological development. As a result, Cuba has established the National Program for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (PNᶟ), overseen by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA), which aims to provide continuity to undergraduate training by using the job readiness stage for recent graduates as a fundamental tool. Within this context, this research arises, and the present article aims to design and implement a job readiness strategy for recent graduates in various fields who have joined the field of nanotechnology as researchers in Cuba. To address this objective, a documentary study was conducted of various curricula at several universities, seeking information on the existence of training programs for nanotechnology experts, as well as on the connection between various specializations and the development of nanotechnology in our country. Several instruments were applied (initial and final performance tests), and the main result was the need for a strategy aimed at recent graduates in various fields who are entering the field of nanotechnology-based research as researchers.
