Abstract

The opportunity for contrast is provided by complex thinking with a different look at life, man and his relationships with the environment. This article aims to analyze environmental education as a pedagogical aspect and the transition experienced in the history of pedagogy, starting from the relevant moments. The methods used were theoretical sampling and comparative analysis essentially. The results were aimed at identifying the transition in the interpretation of environmental education yesterday, from the thought of Juan Jacobo Rousseau and what is dispensed today from the perspective of the complex thought of Edgar Morín s well as the required education for sustainable development.
