Abstract

The professional development is a process that can contribute to the teachers` updating, mainly, in those areas of knowledge that have suffered vertiginous changes. This article is the result of a research motivated by the problems derived from the limited number of prepared professors to cope with the transformations of the educational practice and the use of the information and communication technologies in their classes. For this reason, the objective of the article is to design workshops that contribute to the teachers ‘professional development in the “Andrés Lujan Vázquez” Pedagogic Center, San Miguel del Padrón. Also, this process should be organized, planned and guided to the solution of problems related to the teachers ‘updating and professionalization.
