Soft skills in human talent management: Proposing an improvement plan for the Peruvian Social Health Insurance

Abstract

Effectively managing human talent in EsSalud requires strategies to address this problem, Therefore, it is very necessary to implement professional development programs, recognition and retention policies, as well as to constantly promote effective communication between managers and workers. The objective of the study was to propose an improvement plan based on soft skills for human talent management in EsSalud, Lambayeque. A quantitative approach and descriptive propositional design were applied. The results demonstrated that the majority of healthcare and administrative staff lacked effectiveness in human talent management. A plan based on soft skills was proposed, validated by three experts, who suggested that its implementation could improve the effectiveness of human talent management in EsSalud, Lambayeque.
