Abstract

The fourth industrial revolution has generated great changes, mainly in the educational and labor field and it is expected that a group of necessary transformations will take place in Cuban Higher Education that allow to prepare future professionals for a changing labor market to face the missions and challenges that the development of the country will impose. In this sense, 4.0 education is presented as a flexible and adaptive model that is characterized by relying on information and communication technologies and, mainly, on industry 4.0 digitization technologies. This article is  aimed at designing the competence profile of the graduates from this career based on the Study Plan "E" for part-time courses, which will allow achieving efficiency and effectiveness in the educational teaching process and the development of the necessary competencies that the student must acquire during his undergraduate studies to be competitive in his professional life. A quantitative study was carried out with a descriptive design that included a sample of 90 students from the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th years who study the career in the part-time courses at the Headquarters and at the Municipal University Centers of Caibarién and Sagua la Grande
