Professional development of executives and their reserves in the business schools

Abstract

Postgraduate Education includes professional development. This article provides an insight into the concept of professional development in the context of business schools. Several concepts from different authors are analyzed to highlight the essential aspects of this process as part of the postgraduate training of professionals. Documents that regulate the professional development are analyzed and some terms that are usually confusing are clarified.

The definition of professional development, its forms and significance as well as its relation with the growing needs of enterprise professionals are also reflected in this paper. Professional development is even more necessary in light of the task of ordering and improving our economy through the labor of professionals.
