National Values: mobile application for learning the History of Cuba in the career of Engineering in Agroindustrial Processes

Cuba has been gaining ground with the inclusion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in educational contexts, specifically in Higher Education. Currently, a problem faced by the university professor is related to the development of mobile applications and their implementation in the teaching-learning process (PEA), in order tocontribute to didactic innovation from their teaching role. The article presented is the partial result of an investigation about the use of mobile applications in the teachinglearning process of the subject History of Cuba in the blended training of engineers. Its general objective is to assess the use of the mobile application "Values Patrios" with
contents of the subject History of Cuba for the career of Engineering in Agroindustrial Processes, linked to the blended modality in the Municipal University Center (CUM) of Quivicán, attached to the Agrarian University of Havana "Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez" (UNAH). Among the research methods used are the analytic-synthetic, inductivedeductive,
historical-logical, documentary analysis, modeling and the systemic-structural method. The survey was used as the empirical level method. The main result obtained was the proposed mobile application, with its structure, description and foundation; In addition, it was possible to verify the level of satisfaction expressed by the students and
teachers of the subject with the mobile application developed.
