Abstract

At present, Information and Communication Technologies have acquired a boom in all areas of human life. The global trend towards development forces society to venture into the study of these technologies, since in the context of the knowledge society, technological advances emerge to respond to the needs of being in continuous connection with information and communication. That is why the so-called computer products emerge that configure a new paradigm of digital education. This article is aimed at systematizing the theoretical-methodological references on the interactive electronic textbook, all through the application of
theoretical level methods, such as; the documentary study, the analyticsynthetic study and the systematization that allowed establishing links, comparing references, determining common and divergent points in the existing approaches on the particularities of this type of book and deriving the pertinent conclusions regarding its didactic design that enhances the conscious and active role of the student in his training as an engineer.
