Abstract

The results of the transformation of the "Radiometric Methods and Nuclear Geophysics” subject within the Study Plan D and the new Study Plan E are presented in the Geophysical Engineering curriculum at "José Antonio Echeverría" Technological University, CUJAE.  The modifications made have allowed us to move from a teaching process model centered on the teacher to another one
focused on the student, prioritizing the practical and independent activity and favoring the insertion of students in research projects carried out by the Department of Geosciences. The organizational changes made in the last four courses are also shown which include the use of the infrastructure of the main related employer organizations of the territory, through collaborative relationships
and agreements, which guarantee the continuous improvement of the material base and technical equipment necessary for the fulfillment of the objectives of the subject and the adequate professional training of the students.
