Evaluation of the quality of university education in sub-Saharan Africa: the case of Angola

Abstract

The engineering training process at the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) is subjected to a continuous and improvement process. One of the subjects that makes up the curriculum is Database Systems I which has presented problems in the design and implementation proposed by the students in their course projects, midterm tests and workshop lessons in recent years. To overcome these problems, a group of teachers from the Faculty of Sciences and Computer Technologies have been developing a multimedia based on a case study on Marti that would achieve
a better  conceptual  construction,  arguments,  previous knowledge  search,  and students’ projection for Systems Databases I course.
