Abstract

This article is about the design and programming of the course on "Geophysical methods  applied  to  the  prospecting,  exploration  and  exploitation  of hydrocarbons fields" taught in the fifth year at the Geophysical Engineering field which  is  delivered  by  the  Department  of  Geosciences  at  the  School  of  Civil Engineering,  CUJAE,  located  in  Havana,  Cuba.  This  constitutes  a  course  in  the discipline  "Applied  Geophysics"  from  Study  Plan  D.  It  is  the  result  of  the theoretical  and  practical  students´  experience  acquired  through  the  different geophysical  methods  studied  whose  aim  is  to  reinforce  the  interaction  and implementation  of the  geophysical  and  geologic  methods  in  the  exploration  and exploitation  of  hydrocarbon  deposits.  For  this  reason,  it  was  necessary  to prepare all the theoretical and practical materials, and to consult books, articles and reports from projects and investigations.
