Abstract

Corporate training constitutes an important process in organizations, as it influences the constant development of their human resources and improved job performance. Since the integration of ICTs into companies' strategic processes, training has been reorganized and adapted to new circumstances to improve their personnel. The use of e-learning platforms offers new alternatives for distance learning, benefiting from savings in time and resources and aligning companies with international trends. The Cuban business sector, with its branch schools, has also undergone significant changes in this regard, based on the methodological guidelines of the Ministry of Higher Education. This article addresses the case of the Branch School of the Ministry of Transportation in Cuba and its training alternatives for specialists who perform document management activities, using a blended learning approach. One of the problems organizations frequently face is how to measure the training level of their trainees before and after offering courses. This requires indicators that help measure, diagnose, implement, and evaluate the process in each practical context. Therefore, the objective of this article is to determine dimensions and indicators that make it possible to measure blended learning in the transportation sector, based on regulatory requirements and theoretical references on the subject. As a result, this variable was operationalized by determining four dimensions, 15 indicators, and four units of measurement, together with the instruments designed for its application.
