It is a tendency in the new generations to tacitly believe in any information that reaches them through different channels, not being able to make a deep analysis taking into account the reliability of the sources of information or the elements that allow them to take sides and make value judgments. Computer Science engineers will form work teams where they will play various roles that involve the development of critical thinking and the acquisition of skills for problem solving in the profession. For this reason, it is necessary to promote such thinking from all disciplines of the curriculum. The objective of this work is to show, from three teaching tasks in the Algebra course of the Computer Science Engineering career, how the use of technology contributes to the development of reflective thinking. The results of the application of each activity were evaluated on the basis of group interviews where students and teachers analyzed the results achieved. Three teaching activities are described in which technological tools such as podcast, ChatGPT and the discussion forum in the Moodle platform are used as a function of Learning and Knowledge.
