The use of the virtual learning environment in the assembly of disciplines for Bioinformatics

Promoting the use of the virtual learning environment in the assembly of subjects, so that it responds to the social demands and technological change of the 21st century, based on the training processes of the University of Computer Sciences, is a task of vital importance. Therefore, the general objective is to analyze the virtual learning environment as a way to assemble the disciplines in the Bioinformatics career. The methodology used was based on the investigative dialectical-materialist approach. And the results achieved were based on the references that were assumed for a proposal of didactic strategy and its respective structure. That the virtual learning environment path was analyzed based on the fact that students act as builders of knowledge and not as receivers, and teachers as guides, mediators and facilitators of self-learning, and thus respond to social demands and the technological change of the 21st century, which constituted the main conclusion in the article prepared.
