The scientific and technological development at the service of the digital transformation of society requires that these processes be carried out from universities, mainly those where computer science careers are studied. However, this requires an effective transformation of the professional training process. An innovative proposal is the application of project-based learning, which implies a greater use of students' autonomous learning, which is directly related to effective self-preparation and the development of study habits. The objective of this article is to evaluate the implementation of methodological actions for the development of study habits for learning based on software development projects after a period of time has elapsed since the beginning of the application of the research project entitled "Methodology for learning based on software development projects". A qualitative descriptive study was carried out through the application of a questionnaire of open questions to analyze the perception of students and teachers on the implementation of the proposed methodological actions and their impact on the development of study habits. The analysis of the results shows that the proposed methodological actions contribute to the development of study habits. Although the overall assessment has a positive balance, this study has allowed correcting some actions and proposing others to be carried out in a second stage of the project.
