Theoretical notes on educational communication mediated by social networks
Abstract
The theoretical evolution of Pedagogy, marked by the accelerated development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), has enhanced the potential of mass media for teaching and has contributed to legitimize the existence of formal and informal learning forms, aspects that have allowed to determine educational communication as the
object of study of Pedagogy and Communication. The objective of this article is to delve into the theory on the relationship between communication and education. It is concluded that the communication process in the socio-pedagogical context reflects the indisputable link between communication and education as well as the use of mass media and digital
technologies in training processes.
