Characterization of the technological and educational communication to enhance Cuban adolescents´ pedagogical and professional motivation

The use of the technology constitutes an interactive way of learning and instruction for the motivational and pedagogical training in Cuba. A deficit of professors and the poor rational digital employment by them in the educational Cuban context are evidenced. This is considered an unsolved current problem. The purpose of this article is to characterize the technological and educational communication to enhance the pedagogical and professional motivation of Cuban adolescents in the pre university
context. A quantitative study with a descriptive design was carried out. A sample of tenth degree 41 students from the Mariano Clemente Prado and Lopez pre-university institute in Santa Clara's city was selected. A questionnaire on the educational communication for the students´ pedagogical and professional motivation was used. An open interview to the students and a structured interview to the professors were applied for identifying the type of motivation. The version 21.0 of the statistical package SPSS was also used. The results showed poor students´ intrinsic motivation and a low level of use of the educational digital communication. The need to carry out educational actions that allow the appropriate development of the educational communication through the reciprocal digital interactive use by educators and adolescent students at the pre- university level
in the Cuban educational context was predicted.
